Kochi Metro to offer free ride on Women’s Day

KOCHI: Kochi Metro will offer free Metro rides to all women on the International Women’s Day on March 8.

According to Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL), women can travel on the Kochi Metro for free on the day. Women commuters can enjoy unlimited free travel from any station to any station of the Metro.

KMRL also informed that women staff would be station controllers in 10 major stations of the Metro on that day. As part of the Women’s Day celebrations, attractive competitions and various events also will be organized at various stations of Kochi Metro.
