KOCHI: Jaffer Malik, who took over the charge of district collector from S Suhas on Monday, said that he will pay special attention to implement projects for marginalized and also to resolve the issues faced by the students who face difficulties in studies under prevailing Covid situation.
“Equal importance will be given for sorting out issues faced by all the regions of the district,” he said.
“Land acquisition for development projects will be completed in a time-bound manner,” he said. “A project with the help of health department, Kudumbashree, Anganwadi workers and Asha workers will be designed for facing the impact of Covid on children,” Malik said.
“It will be ensured that all the government employees render better services,” he added. Top officials, including district development commissioner Afsana Parveen, who is also the wife of Malik, attended the ceremony at the collectorate.
