There is a recurring segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden called “Spill your Guts,” which basically requires celebrity guests to answer questions honestly or eat something gross.
With Kobe Bryant joining the show for Tuesday’s episode, Corden had the Lakers great set up perfectly to ignite the NBA hot-take machine. He asked Kobe to rank himself, LeBron James or Michael Jordan. If he chose not to do so, he would need to eat a cow tongue.
And guess what? Kobe was going to choose the tongue!
Kobe was about to take the diplomatic approach and forego the wrath of NBA Twitter. We already knew he was going to rank himself at No. 1, but the Jordan-LeBron argument was not something he wanted to get anywhere near.
That was until he saw that cow tongue. That gray, stiff cow tongue looked inedible. It wouldn’t have been worth it. So, Kobe relented and offered his top 3.
1. Kobe Bryant
2. Michael Jordan
3. LeBron James
He’s done it now. People are going to take this ranking way too seriously.
