Knowsley Safari Park has reassured customers they will be able to get tickets despite the initial batch selling out almost instantly.
The popular family attraction was given the green light from the Government last week to reopen its gates from June 15, after speaking out about its worries and demanding answers as to why it was unable to reopen.
Fans rushed to book tickets as soon as the safari park announced its return last week, leading to its website crashing due to demand.
Now, Knowsley Safari Park has assured fans they’ll be able to get their hands on tickets soon.
In an email sent to guests, Knowsley Safari Park wrote: “We are so pleased to announce that we're back open to online bookings only.
“Our first wave of tickets sold out, but after the success of our first couple days of opening, a limited number of new time slots are NOW AVAILABLE.
“We'll be releasing these in waves so please don't worry if they sell out again soon.
“To help you have the best experience possible and maintain social distancing requirements we are limiting the number of guests at any one time.
“This means all guests including members MUST book an arrival time slot online and no tickets can be purchased at the gates.”
Everyone who would like to visit the safari park, including members and NHS staff who are able to visit for free, must book a time slot in advance.
A booking reference number will be issued which you then take with you and read out at the arrival kiosks, within your allocated time.
Hygiene stations, Perspex screens and one way systems are in place to help people stay safe.
