Knowsley recorded another rise in positive Covid tests for the second day in a row.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, Knowsley recorded 574 infections in the week ending August 2 - 36 more cases than in the previous seven days.

This means the week on week percentage change was a 7% increase in Knowsley.
Every other area of the Liverpool City Region recorded falls in infections.
In Liverpool they fell by 3%; in Halton they fell by 6%; in Wirral they fell by 11%; in Sefton they dropped by 1%: and in St Helens they fell by 8%. In the Liverpool City Region as a whole, they decreased by 4%.
Positive tests dropped in West Lancs, Cheshire West and Chester and Warrington.
In England overall, infections decreased. In the week ending August 2, the nation had 159,401 coronavirus cases, which is 22,326 fewer cases than in the week before.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 1,765 cases in the week ending August 2, which is 61 fewer cases than in the previous week. This meant the week-on-week percentage change decreased by 3%.
The latest infection rate was 352.7 cases per 100,000 people.
Wirral
There were 921 positive tests in the week ending August 2, which is 117 fewer cases than in the previous week. Wirral's week-on-week percentage change decreased by 11%. The latest infection rate was 284.0 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 366 positive tests over the last week, which is 23 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change decreased by 6% in the week ending August 2. The latest infection rate is 282.1 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There were 634 positive tests in the week ending August 2, which is 55 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate was 350.1 cases per 100,000 people. The week-on-week percentage change in St Helens decreased by 8%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 574 cases in the week ending August 2, which is 36 more cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 376.5 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases increased by 7% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 5,111 positive tests over in the week ending August 2, which is 229 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week on week percentage change decreased by 4%. The latest infection rate is 300.16 cases per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
West Lancashire recorded 358 coronavirus cases in the week ending August 2, which is 60 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
There was an infection rate of 312.68 per 100,000 people, and there was a week on week percentage decrease of 14% in infections.
Warrington
There were 663 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending August 2, which is 114 fewer cases than the previous week.
The week on week percentage figure decreased by 15%. There was an infection rate of 316.62 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 914 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending August 2, which is 20 fewer cases than the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 265.83 cases per 100,000 people, and there was a week on week percentage decrease of 2% in cases.
England
In England in the week ending August 2, there was an infection rate of 281.87 per 100,000 people.
The nation recorded 159,401 coronavirus cases, which is 22,326 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
