Knowsley Council Elections 2019: Who is fighting for your vote?

Candidates in 15 wards across Knowsley have been revealed ahead of local elections next month.

Voters in the borough will head to the polls on May 2, with a third of the council’s seats up for grabs.

Labour and the Conservatives are the only parties contesting all of the wards, with Labour  currently holding 40 of the 45 seats in the council chamber.

The Greens are running in eight wards, followed by the Lib Dems in two.
