Mauricio Pochettino has impressed a number of Liverpool supporters by naming Roberto Firmino as one of the best three players in the Premier League.
The former Tottenham Hotspur head coach picked the Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero as his top two, before settling for a rather surprise pick as his last choice.
De Bruyne and Aguero have both been instrumental for City's success in recent years, with Pochettino's side coming up against the pair in the Premier League as well as the Champions League during his tenure in north London.
And while many may have expected him to name Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah as his final pick, Pochettino went for Firmino.
The Brazilian has been an integral part of Liverpool's system, facilitating the aforementioned duo's runs into the box and ability to score goals from wide positions.
It's one of the reasons Jurgen Klopp's side are just two wins away from being crowned champions of England for the first time in 30 years.
Such is Firmino's influence in the Reds system that he makes Pochettino's top three - which purposely excludes any Tottenham player.
"De Bruyne is going to be unfair, I don't know what I can tell you, [Roberto] Firmino, maybe? Yes," he said.
"But there are hundreds of players I can describe."
As expected, this prompted a big response from Liverpool fans as they appreciate the fact that Pochettino has acknowledged Firmino's importance to the squad.

Pochettino could soon be plotting for a way to stop Liverpool and Firmino after revealing that he's ready for a return to management.
"I was ready before now," he added. "The most important thing in football is to move on quickly, to adapt to the new reality.
"Of course it is painful when you leave a club after five and a half years, working so hard to develop and achieve objectives.
"We are full of energy in our bodies, in our minds, to try and provide a new project with all our knowledge and show our passion in football."
