Knowle man jailed after stealing £204 worth of deodorant from Poundland

A man has been jailed for stealing £204 worth of deodorant from Bedminster's Poundland.

Marcus Harvard, Queensdale Crescent, Knowle, admitted the theft, which took place on January 9, when he appeared at Bristol Magistrates Court, on Monday, February 17.

The 30-year-old also pleaded guilty to stealing six wallets and one leather hat worth £200 from Newflower Clothing, Exchange Hall, St Nicholas Market on November 14, 2019.

For his crimes, Harvard was sent to prison for four weeks and ordered to pay £290 compensation, as well as £122 to victim services and £85 to the CPS.
