Knives seized as police stop vehicle in Abergavenny

Gwent Police officers on patrol in Monmouthshire on Tuesday evening (November 23) seized two fearsome-looking knives during a vehicle stop.

Officers said they stopped a suspicious vehicle in Abergavenny during the course of the evening.

The driver was found to be in possession of the two weapons- one a large knife with a serrated blade, the other a smaller knife with a folding blade.

The vehicle was also found to be driven with no licence or insurance, police said.
