Police are guarding a cordoned off street in Knightswood as they probe a suspicious death this afternoon.
Officers raced to Hermitage Avenue at around 10am yesterday morning after a man was seriously injured within his home.
A large section of Hermitage Avenue has been taped off as they continue their investigation.
A spokeswoman for the force said the death is currently being treated as "suspicious" and they are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination.
Locals yesterday told Glasgow Live that they witnessed a heavy presence of emergency services, as well as specialist police in white suits .
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
