Knightswood – Man rushed to hospital after being stabbed in late-night attack

A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Knightswood.

Police raced to Kestrel Road after receiving a report of the 41-year-old being assaulted at around 8:10pm last night.

He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where medical staff describe his condition as stable.

A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. Police Scotland confirm enquiries are ongoing.
