Police have confirmed that a 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a violent assault and robbery in the Knightswood area.
The incident happened on Anniesland Road near to Knightswood Shopping Centre around 4.15pm on Monday.
A 47-year-old woman suffered minor injuries after was pushed to the ground from behind and robbed of her mobile phone.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the 38-year-old man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.
