Knights' Tex Hoy out of Dragons clash after hamstring strain

New Knights five-eighth Tex Hoy has been ruled out of Sunday's clash against St George Illawarra after straining his hamstring during his side's final training session on Saturday.

The injury is not considered serious and could settle down in as little as 48 hours but it will keep him out of the game against the Dragons.

Mason Lino, who was axed after the Knights' 42-12 loss to the Sydney Roosters last weekend in favour of Hoy, gets a reprieve and will start in the halves for a fourth straight game alongside Mitchell Pearce.

In a further change, Edrick Lee is out of the game for family reasons with Gehamat Shibasaki recalled to the squad. Shibasaki will play in the centres with Hymel Hunt reverting back to the wing

Meanwhile, as expected, middle forward Tim Glasby has been cleared to medically retire due to concussions after getting the green light from the NRL.
