Global health and well-being company Isagenix has signed a lucrative deal with the Newcastle Knights, ending the NRL club's two-year search for a back-of-the-jumper sponsor.
The deal was officially announced on Tuesday by Knights CEO Phil Gardner and Isagenix Australia and New Zealand general manager Steve Foxwell.
Gardner said the Knights and Isagenix will work together on initiatives aimed at improving the health of players and supporters.
"It has all the elements of a sporting sponsorship but there is also a mutual commitment to helping our community become fitter and healthier," he said.
The company was established in 2002 in the US and now has more than 425,000 customers in 26 markets worldwide.
Knights star Blake Green is a convert. "It's great to be associated with Isagenix. The range of products that they have, I've been fortunate enough to use them in my recovery process," he said.
