Tasmin quickly took to Facebook to share this act of kindness which she says 'melted her heart', alongside a photo of the lady, who was thrilled to have a picture taken with her heroes.
The photo soon went viral, with hundreds of likes and comments commending the workers for showing the care to stop what they were doing and help - with many claiming the act of kindness shows the 'community spirit' of St Helens.
In the post she said: "While arriving at the United Reform Church around 1.30pm in St Helens we were witness to such a good deed! These gentlemen were escorting this lady, who had just had a fall, across the busy road.

"Made my heart melt & I asked if I could take a pic of this lovely Lady & her knights in hi-viz. Well done lads."
One comment said: "Wishing this lady all the best and a huge thank you to her rescuing heroes."
While Tasmin agreed that is is a 'lovely thing to see' and shows the caring side of the community.
