Knight Frank appoints Scottish industrial and logistics practice lead

Commercial property consultancy Knight Frank has appointed Scott Hogan to lead its industrial and logistics practice in Scotland.

He will relocate from the Aberdeen office to the central belt to take up the newly-created role.

Hogan joined Knight Frank six years ago and has headed up its industrial and logistics offering in Aberdeen for the past three years.

Among his recent deals were the 43,500 sq ft letting to FedEx at the refurbished Aberdeen One logistics park owned by Titan Investors.

The role was created to help the company grow as the sector experiences a rise in demand driven by the shift towards online retail.

Hogan will work closely with the Knight Frank teams across Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

Alasdair Steele, head of Scotland commercial at Knight Frank, said: “Scott’s appointment is a reflection of the great work he has done in Aberdeen and the opportunity that currently exists in the industrial and logistics market across Scotland.”

Hogan added: “The pandemic has expedited the growth of online retail and, as a result, we have seen activity and interest in the industrial and logistics market pick up significantly."
