A knifeman who assaulted two men in an unprovoked attack on the Underground has been convicted following a police investigation.
Nicholas Orlando Green, 36, carried out the frenzied attack at Kennington Station, south London on Thursday, March 27, 2024.
Two men, aged 44 and 42, had finished a midweek dance class and were waiting on separate Northern Line platforms when Green passed through the barriers.
Moments later, Green launched a brutal "ferocious and unprovoked" 20-second assault on the older victim.
When the younger gentlemen rushed to help, Green stabbed him 13 times before horrified passengers managed to intervene.

As he fled the station, Green assaulted a woman, aged 31, before disappearing, the court heard.
Both men were rushed to hospital with injuries that evening, the British Transport Police said.
The following day, detectives tracked down Green, of Kennington Park Road, after identifying him from the bank card he used to tap into the station.
During police interviews, Green repeatedly “laughed, lied, argued”, officers claimed.
“Green’s torrent of violence that day has never been satisfactorily explained
At Inner London Crown Court on Monday, Green was found guilty of two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent, as well as possession of a blade and common assault.
However, Green was cleared of two counts of attempted murder and one of sexual assault.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Attwell said after the conviction: "This was a truly horrific and unprovoked attack that left two innocent men with life-altering physical and psychological injuries that they continue to recover from.
“Green’s torrent of violence that day has never been satisfactorily explained. During police interviews Green repeatedly laughed, lied, argued and tried to frustrate our investigation as much as he could, but our officers worked tirelessly to gather crucial evidence that helped the jury see through his lies and bring him to justice.
“I hope this outcome brings some measure of justice and reassurance to the victims and their loved ones. We will stop at nothing to ensure violent offenders like Green are held to account and removed from the streets.”
