Knife-wielding woman threatens people in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit area

A woman was seen in two videos threatening and attacking people with a knife in Sukhumvit area of Bangkok.

Facebook user “Nisarat Gam Dumnernsawat posted two videos on Saturday.

One showed an agitated woman on a bus threatening other passengers with a knife.

The woman bus attendant is seen grabbing the threatening passenger's hand. Then the bus driver comes from his nearby seat to help. He restrains the woman and releases her on the footpath.

According to the bus attendant, the strange woman had done similar things before. 

In the other video, a woman of similar appearance is seen on a busy footpath in the Nana area threatening people with a knife. Some were foreign tourists. One fended off the attacker and another flees the footpath onto the road. A woman browsing a vendor's stall receives a cut to her back.

The assailant then gets into a parked taxi which is quickly surrounded by taxi motorcyclists who encourage the driver to flee his vehicle. They call local police for help and keep the cab’s doors closed, preventing her leaving until police arrive and detain her.
