Knife-wielding thugs attack staff at The Springs in 'nasty' robbery

Three members of staff were assaulted after thugs threatened them with knives in a "nasty" armed robbery in Leeds.

Four armed suspects threatened staff before making off with a large amount of electrical equipment in the robbery at The Springs Thorpe Park Retail Park at 11.20am on Friday, September 25.

A blue Audi bearing registration NA15 CHK is believed to be have used to leave the scene with the electrical equipment from the South entrance of the car park.

Detective Constable Glenn Dent, of Leeds District CID, said: “This was a nasty incident and we’re keen to speak to anyone who witnessed it, or anyone who saw this vehicle as it made its way to and from The Springs on the 25 September.”

Anyone who has information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact DC 0855 Dent at Leeds District CID on 101 using crime reference 13200481335.
