Knife-wielding man threatens Hunter service station worker

Police are investigating an armed hold-up at a Coalfields service station this week.

The bandit took cash and cigarettes before he fled on a dirt bike with a second man.

The bike was last seen travelling west along Aberdare Road.

Both men were wearing motorbike helmets that covered their faces and dark clothing.

Hunter Valley police established a crime scene and are calling for anyone with information that could help the investigation to contact them.
