A knife fight that broke out between two groups of thugs on a busy residential street has been filmed.
In the footage posted on Twitter , two men surround a blue Peugeot - which has a smashed windscreen - in Croydon's Thornton Heath, London, at around 4.20pm on Friday.
The driver gets out and gives chase to one of the assailants while holding what looks like a blade.
At the same time the other attacker , wearing a motorcycle helmet, rips open the passenger side door and appears to slash and stab at the second occupant.
He then appears to drop a knife during the stramash and goes to pick it up while his target runs away leaving the car stranded in the middle of the street.
Horrified onlookers can be seen watching on in disbelief in the clip filmed from a vehicle in front of the clash.
The Metropolitan Police later revealed that a 17-year-old male had been stabbed during the incident.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The post did not mention if any arrests had been made.
As a result, authorities implemented a Section 60 stop and search order in the area between 4pm on Saturday until 7am this morning.
It comes amid a spate of stabbing incidents across London in recent months.
