Knife attack at Bristol shop - police appeal

A shop worker was injured after a man attempted to slash their face with a knife in Stokes Croft.

Avon and Somerset Police have released the CCTV image of a man they want to track down in connection with a knife attack on August 19.

In the incident, a man went into the shop and verbally abused a member of the public, before slashing at the face of the shop worker causing minor injuries.

The man is described as black, of skinny build, mid-thirties, with short dark hair and may be local to the Stokes Croft area."

A force spokesperson said: "If you can help the police identify him, please call 101 and give the reference number 5221189657."
