Klutch Sports partners with Hollywood’s UTA to open sports division

The bad times don’t last long for Klutch Sports and the good times seemingly keep on coming, with Wednesday opening a whole new world for the agency started by Rich Paul.

Marc Stein of the New York Times reports that Klutch Sports has entered a partnership with Hollywood talent juggernaut United Talent Agency to open their sports division.

Among entertainers that UTA represents are ‘Space Jam 2’ cast member Don Cheadle, as well as Angelina Jolie, Harrison Ford, Martin Lawrence and Paul Giamatti. Paul told Stein that nothing will change for him as far as the business of Klutch Sports, which is representing athletes.

Paul said “nothing changes” in terms of how Klutch’s basketball business operates and that the investment will enable him “to go out and further build Klutch.”

In addition to LeBron James, Klutch Sports represents his new Lakers teammate Anthony Davis, Philadelphia’s Ben Simmons, Golden State’s Draymond Green, Washington’s John Wall and Cleveland forward Tristan Thompson.
