Klutch Sports corner Jeff Okudah goes No. 3 to Detroit Lions

The first-ever NFL Draft for Rich Paul and Klutch Sports went about as well as they ever could have imagined as the first round of Thursday night’s draft as Klutch was able to claim two of the top three picks in the draft. Shortly after Chase Young was drafted No. 2 overall to Washington, the Detroit Lions took his Ohio State teammate and fellow Klutch Sports client Jeffrey Okudah with the No. 3 pick. LSU’s Joe Burrow was the No. 1 pick in the draft to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Okudah was widely seen as the best corner in this year’s draft and he had three interceptions this season for Ohio State. He was also the first client that Rich Paul and Klutch Sports signed to their football operation. LeBron James already reached out to the picks on Twitter.

With the Lions seeing their shutdown corner Darius Slay go to the Philadelphia Eagles, they needed to start building towards a solution at corner and they clearly feel they have something with Okudah.
