Kluiverth Aguilar declares Man City ambition as he embarks on loan move

Manchester City are set to welcome another new signing to the club before sending him out on loan next season.

City signed Peruvian Kluiverth Aguilar from Allianza Lima last year, where he remained until turning 18 last month.

The right-back, who has played 35 senior games for Allianza as well as featuring for Peru's under-23 side, will now travel to City to begin life at his new club.

And speaking to RPP Noticias at the airport ahead of setting off to Europe, Aguilar expressed excitement at his new challenge, which will see him join City Football Group sister club Lommel in Belgium next season.

Aguilar said: “Beyond my young age, I hope to give 100 per cent in what this new experience will be.

“The idea I have is not to return to Peru in 10 years, at least.”

And quizzed on his ambitions of representing City in the future, Aguilar declared that his intention is to prove himself worthy of being in the first team with his journey through the CFG pathway.

He said: “I believe that yes, it’s possible, in this life everything is possible, My goal is to reach the first team, but everything will come in due course.”
