KLM brings mood-boosting vending machine to Glasgow Central station

It’s time to breathe a sigh of relief.

Not only is the weekend approaching, but there's a vending machine in Glasgow Central Station dispensing free massages, waffles and even flights.

The KLMood Booster has been touring the country and today has been dishing out its winter blues-beating freebies to the city since 7am today.

Usually the best we can hope for when using a vending machine is perhaps an unplanned 2-for-1 deal on Irn-Bru.

But Dutch airline firm KLM are taking this to the next level, providing commuters with the chance to win sweet treats to brighten up the last days of January.

So if you’re still feeling a little down about the fact your attempt at Veganuary lasted just two weeks, this is for you.

Anyone wishing to give it a bash must simply input their mood into the machine by selecting the emoji that matches how they feel.

It's an act of sympathy from the Dutch airline. The UK is currently lagging behind the Netherlands in the World Happiness Report 2019, ranking 15 compared to their stellar five.

Perhaps they reckon free flights and caramel waffles are just what we need!
