Klim’s Adventure Rally Suit Is Back and Ready For Your Gnarliest Adventures

In the world of adventure riding, few names carry as much weight as Klim. Based in Idaho, Klim has spent over two decades earning its reputation as the go-to brand for serious riders who don’t let weather, terrain, or time stop them. From mountain snowmobiling to Dakar rally stages, the brand cut its teeth making bombproof, waterproof shells that could be layered over body armor, long before it became industry standard.

And one of Klim’s most iconic pieces? The Adventure Rally suit.

When it first dropped back in 2010, the original Adventure Rally wasn’t just another set of riding gear; it was a gearhead’s dream come true. Built like a tank, it rewrote the rulebook for what ADV riders could expect from outerwear. It had real-world racing pedigree, with development input from Dakar competitors like Jonah Street and Casey McCoy. It proved that you didn’t have to compromise between off-road durability and on-road comfort.

Now, it’s back.

The all-new 2025 Adventure Rally combo marks the sixth generation of this iconic piece of adventure kit, and this time, Klim’s gone all in on the shell-over-armor idea. The suit is built around Gore-Tex 3-layer Performance Shell laminate for waterproofing, Superfabric for abrasion zones, and unlined construction to reduce bulk. That means better mobility, less sweat, and more versatility, a nifty feature for riders who wear their own body armor underneath, like Klim’s Tactical Pro system.

It’s also rated CE B under EN 17092-5, meaning it meets street-level abrasion standards despite being a shell. Ventilation is extensive, storage is smart, and the pants can be worn either over or inside your boots depending on the terrain. Even the collar is neck brace-compatible, suggesting this thing can be used for more than just adventure riding.

But why does this matter?

Simple: because adventure riding is exploding. Manufacturers can barely keep up with the demand. You’ve got entry-level machines like the Royal Enfield Himalayan and CFMoto Ibex 450 opening the doors to new riders. On the other end, there are tech-laden monsters like the BMW R 1300 GSA and Ducati Multistrada V4 that cost more than a mid-size sedan. No matter where you land on the spectrum, one thing’s for sure: good gear matters.

And Klim’s Adventure Rally isn’t just good; it's a return to form for one of the most trusted names in the game. So whether you’re riding across continents or just finding the long way home, this is the kind of gear that’s built to go the distance.
