Kliff Kingsbury not concerned about lack of experience with OL depth

The Arizona Cardinals have a lot of experience with their starting offensive line. They do not have much experience on the bench. They also are not too concerned.

On the bench are three rookies in Lamont Gaillard, Joshua Miles and Brett Toth. Mason Cole is in his second year. Justin Murray is listed as a second-year player, although he has been bouncing around in the league since 2016. He has only played in two NFL games. Jeremy Vujnovich enters his third season. Four of the players on the bench combine for two games of NFL experience. Murray is the only backup tackle who has played in the NFL before this season.

Isn’t the lack of experience a concern?

“It’s not,” said head coach Kliff Kingsbury on Tuesday. “It wasn’t prior to this week, either.”

We will see if that lack of experience will ultimately hurt them. Ideally, the starters will stay healthy and it won’t matter.

If not, then we will see exactly how concerned the Cardinals are.
