Kliff Kingsbury insists clapping false starts will not be a problem

The false starts keep coming for Arizona Cardinals quarterbacks. Brett Hundley was hit once in the preseason opener. Kyler Murray was flagged twice against the Oakland Raiders. Hundley picked up two more over the weekend.

The question of clapping or fake clapping before the snap continues to be a concern.

But Kliff Kingsbury continues to say he isn’t concerned. Leading up to the game last weekend he felt things had been explained and he holds to that.

“I feel like we’re in a good place with it,” he reiterated to reporters Monday. “I don’t expect it to be a problem for us moving forward.”

He also indicated “the league isn’t too keen” on the continued conversations or questions about it.

It has appeared as if the league is singling out the Cardinals and how they run things before snap.

Either the Cardinals will get clarification or they simply will move away from the clapping. That is what Kyler Murray did on Saturday. He went with a more traditional lifting of his foot.

Either way, while many seek a detailed explanation, the Cardinals will figure things out, whether that be from conforming or knowing what is allowed and what is not.
