Thursday’s Game 6 of the NBA Finals promises to be an emotional scene for a number of reasons. Obviously, it will be the final game in Oracle Arena’s history as the Warriors are set to move to the Chase Center in San Francisco.
It’s also the first game since Kevin Durant suffered a torn Achilles.
Given the circumstances around the injury (Durant’s prior calf injury and impending free agency), the entire Warriors organization was emotional over what happened in Toronto. And for Klay Thompson, the Warriors now have added motivation to pull off the NBA Finals three-peat:

Thompson shared an Instagram post ahead of Thursday’s Game 6 and spoke of what Durant put on the line to help his teammates. He wrote:
