Klay Thompson prepares for Rockets: ‘we see our opponent up 3-0’

The Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors are on a collision course to meet in the second round of these 2019 NBA Playoffs.

With the Warriors knocking off the Los Angeles Clippers on Easter Sunday 113-105, they have a 3-1 lead in their first round playoff series.

Post game, Klay Thompson made a reference to the Rockets leading the Jazz 3-0 in their first round playoff series. He mentioned that the Warriors don’t want to give Houston any more rest days.

The Rockets can close out their series with the Jazz on Monday in Game 4 while the Warriors have to head back to The Bay to try and finish off the Clippers in Game 5 on Wednesday.

It would be in the Rockets best interest to close out Utah as quickly as possible. A series with the Warriors ultimately looms and they’ll need all of the rest they can get to prepare and avenge the 2018 Western Conference Finals loss.

Tip off from Vivint Smart Home Arena is at 9:30 p.m. CST on Monday.
