Klay Thompson out at least four games with fractured right thumb

OAKLAND, Calif. _ The Warriors will not have the Splash Brothers for at least the next four games.

While Stephen Curry is nursing a tweaked right ankle, Klay Thompson has a fractured right thumb. The Warriors will reevaluate Thompson on March 22, while Curry will be reevaluated on March 20. That opens up the possibility that one or both of the players will return when the Warriors play the Atlanta Hawks on March 23.

Thompson sustained the injury during Sunday's loss in Minnesota.

In the meantime, the Warriors (51-16) enter Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers (31-36) at Oracle Arena with only one All-Star available (Kevin Durant). In addition to Curry and Thompson out, the Warriors will be without Draymond Green because of right shoulder soreness.

Warriors rookie forward Jordan Bell will be available after missing the past three games with a sprained right ankle. While Warriors forward Andre Iguodala (sprained left wrist) is listed as questionable, David West (right arm cyst) and Patrick McCaw (fractured left wrist) remain sidelined.
