This summer hasn’t been all about rehab for Klay Thompson. The Golden State Warriors swingman appears ready to enjoy vacation.
Thompson was captured in an Instagram story jumping onto a private jet with fishing rods. Later in the Instagram story, Thompson was dancing with a bottle in-hand. Then on Thompson’s Instagram story, he shared a video that showed he’d arrived at an idyllic, watery destination.
He wrote: “Wake boarding in my quicksilvers!!”
He was scheduled to undergo an ACL repair surgery during the end of June. So never mind that Thompson isn’t wearing a knee brace when he was boarding the plane. Nevermind that he’s also dancing in place. But he’s also talking about wake boarding on his recovering ACL. Wild.
It’s got to be a joke, hence the crying-laughing emoji next to his message. It’s probably just a paid promotion for Quicksilver. Still, he’s toying with the hearts of Warriors fans.
Thompson signed an $190 million contract extension despite suffering the ACL injury in the NBA Finals loss to the Toronto Raptors this June.
