Klay Thompson had a classic Klay Thompson reaction to not making an All-NBA team

Klay Thompson was hanging out with reporters after practice on Thursday, taking about the upcoming NBA Finals and whatnot when a reporter broke some news to him: Thompson hadn’t been named to any of the All-NBA teams.

The guard, who has once again been a key player on a Warriors team that’s going to it’s fifth straight NBA Finals, wasn’t happy about it, either.

Here are the guards that beat him out: James Harden and Steph Curry (first team), Kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard (second team), and LeBron James and Kemba Walker (third team).

It’s tough to find anyone on that list that should have been replaced by Thompson, whose numbers are hurt because he plays for such a star-studded team.

Here’s Klay’s thoughts on it:

That’s some classic Klay there.

Gotta think a fourth NBA ring means so much more than an All-NBA team award. And I don’t think he’ll have any problem getting all the money he deserves when he becomes a free agent in the summer.

But that reaction was pretty honest and awesome.
