Klay Thompson expects to play Game 3 of Finals on Wednesday

Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson limped off the floor with hamstring tightness in their 109-104 Game 2 win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night.

He finished with 25 points, five assists, and five rebounds to lead Golden State and his shooting really set the tone for the team all night long. He has shown off a ton of endurance during this dynasty run as he has played in each and every playoff game during this five year run the Warriors have been on.

Postgame, he told reporters that he does not anticipate missing Game 3 in The Bay on Wednesday.

The Warriors are dealing with a lot of injuries from Kevin Durant to DeMarcus Cousins to Andre Iguodala and now Thompson, yet they are still able to dig deep and they earned a big Game 2 win on the road.

Now headed home with the momentum, with Durant expected to return in either Game 3 or Game 4 and Thompson expecting to play, you have to like Golden State’s chances at taking complete control in this series.
