Older generations always believe things were better in their day, it's the way of the world.
But that saying certainly appears to be true when it comes to the football stars of yesteryear.
Legendary striker Klaus Fischer was adored during his career but the 69-year-old looks like he could still be playing now judging by his recent acrobatic effort on live TV.
The former West Germany star was renowned for his overhead kicks during his playing career and he appears to be getting better at them with age.
Fischer leaped like a salmon to fire home during a segment on NDR as he walloped the ball into the net with the two gobsmacked presenters unable to keep it out.
And the World Cup star might be in luck. It's transfer season and teams are searching high and low for new faces and Fischer's skills are certainly more impressive than some players' Youtube highlights.
Perhaps the Schalke favourite could be signing for a team near you.
