The leading global payments and shopping provider Klarna has committed to support the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in its frontline response to COVID-19 by donating £1, $1 or €1 from every Klarna transaction placed through ASOS globally today.
The Giveback Day as it has been re-named, will take place internationally and enable Klarna and ASOS customers to take part in ICRC’s relief efforts against the pandemic.
Giveback Day will help some of the world’s most vulnerable people, such as those living in countries affected by conflict. Money raised for the ICRC will go towards activities such as sanitation to prevent the spread of the disease, support for vital health infrastructure such as hospitals, and towards ensuring access to clean water for countless communities.
Klarna has not placed a limit on the amount that it will donate as part of the Giveback Day, and has guaranteed to honour every Klarna transaction placed at ASOS in the relevant currency.
Customers shopping on Giveback Day at ASOS can browse over 85,000 products, from 800 of the best global and local third-party brands in addition to a mix of fashion-led in-house labels including ASOS Design, ASOS Edition, ASOS 4505 and COLLUSION.
ASOS have also extended their returns policy to a whopping 90 days whilst things are a bit difficult and returns aren't as easy as usual with queuing restrictions in place. After the 90 days, you'll receive ASOS credit.
So if you find yourself over at ASOS today, make sure you make a payment through Klarna and help support those in need.
Seems to us like a great excuse to do more online shopping during lockdown really.
