Celtic have been given a potential boost in their pursuit of Kasper Hogh.
The striker was left out of Bodo/Glimt's starting eleven on Thursday night. The Norwegian champions secured a 3-0 victory against HamKam, with Hogh named on the bench but not making an appearance.
The 24-year-old has been on Celtic's radar since January, and their interest has been reignited following his impressive form this season.
Hogh has scored seven goals and provided five assists in 12 league appearances, while also making an impact in the Champions League with goals against Inter Milan and Manchester City.

His absence from the starting line-up led to speculation among fans that a move to Celtic could be on the cards. However, Bodo/Glimt manager Kjetil Knutsen played down any immediate significance.
Knutsen said: "The match today is a step in the right direction. The group has worked hard.
"We have had some [players] who have not been here, because they have been involved in other fun things [the World Cup], but the group has done extremely well.
“The whole group is signing up; they need to be ready. We have to work a little and change our players."
