KJ Hamler looking to reunite with Miles Sanders on the Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are in need of dynamic playmakers and one of the guys available in this week’s draft is very familiar with the Birds top skill guy.

Penn State WR KJ Hamler made an appearance on joined Louis Riddick on Saturday’s SportsCenter to chat about the upcoming NFL Draft and he didn’t hide his desire to reunite with former Nittany Lions teammate, Miles Sanders.

Transcripts via NBC Sports Philadelphia:

“I talk to Miles a lot. Miles is one of my best friends.”

“We talked about me playing for the Eagles, and seeing if they’re interested or not.” “I’ve talked to the Eagles a lot, actually, but I can only go to one team, and the one team that’s going to get me is going to get 100 percent, 120 percent out of me, 24/7.”

“If I get drafted by the Eagles, I know Shareef Miller, Miles is one of my best friends, so that’d be a blessing. But I think anywhere, any team that picks me would be a blessing as well.”

Hamler left for the NFL after catching 56 passes for 906 yards and eight touchdowns in 2019 for Penn State and is expected to be a first or second-round pick.

Hamler’s a dynamic playmaker that would immediately take the pressure of Sanders in the Eagles offense and he’d replace Darren Sproles on special teams from day one.
