Kitty O'Shea's taking over old Viper nightclub in Glasgow's west end

Kitty O'Shea's is to take over the space vacated by the old Viper nightclub in the west end of Glasgow and turn it into an Irish pub.

The popular boozer, located on Waterloo Street in the city centre, is due to open at the spot on Great Western Road in March.

And that means offering up live sport, live music, daily food and drinks deals to hungry and thirsty punters in the west end of the city.

The location is well known to most people in Glasgow, not just in its previous life as Viper.

Following that it became the short-lived GWR 500 nightclub, while back in the day it was one of the most famous spots in the city when it was known as Cleopatra's (or Clatty Pats).

No opening date has been announced as yet for the new Irish pub.

But watch this space for more info when we have it.
