Kitten's tail stuck across its bottom with superglue in attack as owner left horrified

A kitten is "very distressed" after her tail was superglued to her bottom.

Jessica the 13-month-old kitten was attacked on Friday night in Taunton.

Christina Murrell said it appears self-adhesive spray was used in the attack which has left her son JD, 5, heartbroken, Somerset Live reports.

She said Jessica was given to her son on his firth birthday last year and he will be six next month.

Christina, who added that the kitten had cardboard stuck to her, reported the incident to police.

She said: "So this happened to my son's kitten last night in Lyngford Square area.

"They used a self-adhesive spray and stuck her tail across her bottom and on her side and stuck cardboard to her.

"She is very distressed. The police have been called and hopefully, they will retrieve fingerprints from this.

"If anyone witnessed anything can you please message me as this is psycho, pathetic behaviour and very disturbing."

She added: "I just want them caught and justice for Jessica.

"She's so shaken up and my little boy was in tears."

Avon and Somerset Police have been contacted for a comment.
