KitKat launch new bars including gin and tonic and whisky and ginger - and you can get them in this Manchester store

Chocolate lovers are in for a treat thanks to this latest news from KitKat.

If you are a fan of the classic tea-time bar but are wanting to change things up, look no further than the 'Inspired by Best of British' bars making their way to John Lewis stores this week.

British flavours from Cherry Bakewell and Apple and Rhubarb to the slightly more fancy Earl Grey and Blackberry and Elderflower all make an appearance alongside six handcrafted 'Special Editions' .

Nuttlylicious, Zingtastic Gin and Tonic, Billionaire's Treasure, Jewels of the East, Springtime in Japan and Whisky and Ginger make up the special bars and we want to try all of them!

Chocolatory KitKat pop up will appear at the John Lewis store in the Trafford Centre where the exclusive bars will all be handmade by expert Nestle chocolatiers in the shop.

And they may make good gifts leading up to the festive season as the the upgraded KitKat bars will come in bespoke presentation boxes.

Customers can get their hands on the latest editions from John Lewis stores or online from September 26 until December 24.

Prices start at £7.50 for six Special Edition bars and the KitKat Best of British personalised gift box is £12.
