Kirstie's Handmade Christmas wants to hear from NI crafters to take part in new series

Calling all Northern Ireland crafters and bakers, this is your chance to showcase your talent on national TV.

The TV company that produces Kirstie Allsopp’s Christmas Craft series, Kirstie's Handmade Christmas are looking to hear from talented Northern Ireland folk to take part in the new series.

Filming for the new series is due to start in October and ten crafty competitions will be filmed over the course of the series. Producers for the Channel 4 show are looking for passionate makers and bakers to create festive goodies to feature in the programmes.

This year's craft competition categories are:

  1. Gingerbread House building 
  2. Tree decorating 
  3. Cake decorating 
  4. Stocking making
  5. Best handmade toy 
  6. Best hand knitted Christmas Jumper 
  7. Best Christmas paper craft 
  8. Best handmade wreath 
  9.  Best handmade Decorations
  10. Best Christmas Party Food

Producers said: "We welcoming applications from all sections of the community and you must be over 16 to apply. All communications will take place remotely and we will conduct any initial interviews over the phone or via video-call. Filming will also adhere to the current UK government and NHS Covid-19 guidelines."
