Kirstie Allsopp savagely cut mid sentence on Good Morning Britain

Kirstie Allsopp was royally snubbed today on Good Morning Britain when she got cut off mid sentence.

The property expert was being introduced on the ITV programme but barely got a word out before an advert break cut in over her.

It all started when Andi Peters, who was doing an outside broadcast link up, explained to hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid that Kirstie was on the show to talk about “all things Christmassy”.

But Piers, who interrupted him, was more interested in Andi’s bizarre two-piece orange pyjamas.

“What are you looking for, the Guantanamo Bay look?” he asked.

Laughing, Andi said he was more going for Orange Is The New Black.

“These are my designer pyjamas with a monolift with my own initials,” he explained, pointing at the ‘AP’ logo on the left side.

He continued: “Anyway Piers, I was talking. The wonderful Kirstie Allsopp is coming up next. You’re watching Good Morning Britain, live on ITV.”

The camera then shot to Kirstie, who was backstage in the studio, but it seemed the Location, Location, Location presenter obviously didn’t get the memo about the scheduled advert break.

“We are going to get Piers enthused about Christmas…” she said, before her voice was faded out.

It ordeal didn’t end there for Kirstie - during her interview she was interrogated by Piers about her thoughts on Brexit and Prince Andrew.

One viewer tweeted: “You go on to talk about your Christmas crafts, get told off and get asked pointed questions with nothing to do with it. Questions to put Kirstie in an awkward position. Bad interviewing.”

GMB airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
