Kirkpatrick Durham horserider Jodie Caig chosen to represent Scotland in the BEU18 Championship

Jodie Caig of Tarbreoch, Kirkpatrick Durham has been chosen to represent Scotland in the BEU18 Championship.

The competition consists of dressage, show jumping and cross country and will take place at Frickley Park in Yorkshire from July 25 to 28.

The team is made up of 10 riders and the Scottish team will compete against teams from various regions in England and Wales. The riders will compete both individually and as a team player.

Jodie is honoured and excited to be chosen to ride for her country and intends to put all her effort into performing to her very best on her horse Hespo, known as Herbie.
