All roads will lead to Kirkgunzeon on Saturday for the village’s annual summer gala.
Fun attractions at the event include a dog scurry, dog showing classes and have a go agility.
A bouncy castle, a range of stalls, a tombola and raffle will also feature.
Teas and coffees, a licenced bar, a barbecue and free drinks for children will be provided.
Hall secretary Ann Purvis said: “It’s a great opportunity for the community to come together after Covid.
“We restarted it last summer and it was so well attended.
“We had hundreds of people there and a lot of people said it was the busiest for years.
“I am sure it will be a big success again this year.
“Emma Maxwell at Kirkgunzeon Canines is organising the craft stalls and there are about 30 coming along.
“We’ll have vintage tractors on display as well.”
The event, which is being held at the Maxwell Memorial Hall, runs from 10am to 4pm.
It is being supported by Dumfries and Galloway Council and Kirkgunzeon Canines.
