The Kirkcudbright Rotary Club annual duck race will take place later this month.
The popular competition will be held in the harbour at 12noon on Sunday, August 28, providing an exciting spectacle for visitors and residents alike.
Tickets for the race cost £2.50 and can be purchased from Rotarians at various events during the Town’s Summer Festivities with prizes of £100, £50 and £25 for the first three ducks to cross the finish line.
