Kirkcudbright Primary pupils learn about famous Scots by dressing up as legendary figures

Primary 6/7 at Kirkcudbright Primary School have been learning about famous Scots.

As part of their learning the children organised a special Night at the Museum to present their work.

This involved the children becoming their chosen Scot and sharing details about their life.

There was a huge range of different Scots on show.

They ranged from modern icons such as Sir Andy Murray, Sir Chris Hoy and Ally McCoist to Scots from the past, such as Robert Burns, John Knox and John Logie Baird.

The class relished the opportunity to present their work to families of the pupils.
