Pupils in primary 2/3 at Kirkcudbright Primary recently enjoyed a walk looking for the first signs of spring.
They saw some snowdrops before visiting the lovely crocus display in Soaperie Gardens.
The children were very impressed at being able to catch the crocuses when they were at their best.
They were accompanied by their wonderful learning assistant Mrs Baty and teacher Mrs Philip.
