Kirkcudbright Primary pupils don their socks to raise money for Downs Syndrome Scotland

Children from Kirkcudbright Primary School wore lots of socks to raise money for Downs Syndrome Scotland.

Children wore odd socks, brightly coloured socks and some even wore socks on their clothes or in their hair. Around £100 was raised for the charity.

World Downs Syndrome Day was celebrated on March 21 as the most common form of Downs syndrome is Trisomy 21 which is three copies of chromosome 21.
